They say when you are not looking for love it will find you and that was so true for me.I met Shakir (Greg) briefly at a funeral yes its true:) so meeting a man much less my future husband was no where on my mind. It was not love at first sight but it was his smile and delicious meal that left his name on my mind. We went about out lives until a few months later my friend said the 'chef' as he is referred to at times wanted to know if he could get my number I reclutantly said yes and so we began on and off conversations for a few months. We planned to meet on my next vacation and when we did there was so much chemistry between us everyone thought we knew each other a long time...On our first date we sat on the boardwalk and watched the stars and lights across the deep blue caribbean waters. We spent everyday together and truly had the time of our lives. Our journey started then and we dated for a few more months which led to my surprise engagement on Christmas Day. It was amazing it was done by the poolside at our Christmas dinner with our families and friends there:) We believe we have found the each other for a reason and our purpose is much bigger than we can even imagine. We are happy to be planning our wedding which will be on April 26 2014.
