Trav and I met in February 2013 very casually and went on our first date 2 weeks later at CitiPond in Bryant Park. Although, I couldn't convince him to put on some ice skates we did have an opportunity to enjoy great conversation, eat good food and make a connection that would bring us to where we are today 2.5 years later.

I suspected something was brewing when I saw Trav going to work with a suit on a Friday. He NEVER wears a suit on Fridays. Not only was it a suit, it was a new suit. LOL Lo and behold, He took Jolie to work with him as a way to get me to come to his job afterwards to pick them up and have dinner afterwards. I got a few text messages during the day, with the request to look Super Extra Sexy and he let me know that he purchased tickets for us to view the new Observatory in the building where he works. In my head, I thought, there are like dozens of tourists in flip flops and shorts why do I need to wear a sexy dress.

When I arrived to his office. He met me in the lobby with Jolie and we headed to the Observatory section and started the tour. During the tour looking at the amazing view at the top of the Freedom Towers, he kept saying "I love the both of your girls". As we were looking at the amazing skyline and looking at the NJ waterfront view, I saw Trav get on his knees and he asked me to marry him. It was with complete disbelief and I was overwhelmed with joy. I think we both started melting with sweat from nervousness. Afterwards, we took a stroll a few blocks away to grab a quick bite where some of my close friends and family members were there to suprise me in celebration of our engagement.
