After almost 6 years together, we’re finally tying the knot!

It all started in the summer of 2016 when Devonte came through the local KFC drive thru. Who knew the love of his life would be the one taking and serving him his order. Soon as Kayla saw him she was instantly mesmerized. Her and her former co-worker argued over who would approach him and needless to say, Kayla won. 

She wrote her number on the back of his receipt and even gave him an extra cookie with his order. Soon as Devonte pulled off from KFC he threw the receipt with Kayla’s number out the window. Kayla just knew that they would never see each other until the next time he came, but there was no guarantee that she would even be working. 

It was all fate. Kayla’s phone rang from a direct message off instagram and to her surprise it was Devonte. Devonte and Kayla had always followed each other on instagram and he had messaged her more than once and she never responded. It wasn’t until she saw that last message and realized it was the man who completely had her mesmerized in that drive through that she responded.  They been inseparable ever since

A house, two sons, two Cane Corsos and 5 ½ years of adventures together, Devonte proposed to Kayla on her 24th birthday in Miami, Florida.  The best part of their life is just beginning and they thank you for celebrating their special days with them. See you all August 26, 2023 in Negril, Jamaica!
