On Sunday, September 4th, 2016 Grell asked me to go for a ride to the lake!  Of course, I thought he was trying to kill me so I was hesitant!  Upon arriving to the lake, he said there would be a short walk (uughh my legs were hurting from my vacation in Greece) We walked toward the dock and watched the sunset.  Grell escorted me down to the dock, being a  gentleman, telling me to go first! Of course, I was no fool! I wasn't going to let him push me into the lake without a fight, so I insisted he go first! :)

After a few minutes, there was a moment of silence with only the waves laping against the dock. I thought, "wow, how serene.". Just then, Grell dug in his cargo shorts pocket and pulled out a ring box.  He said, "Do you know what this is?" A schrill that I cannot duplicate today came out of me! "I said, NOOOOOOO!" LOL

 He dropped to one knee, and asked me to marry him.  I was stunned! I was dizzy! I was shocked! I said, "YES!" I didn't know what to do next.  I thought I should be crying or something lol but nothing was happening! lol. On the way back to the car, I showed everyone on the bike path my ring! They were so happy for us.  Two miles away driving home, it hit me! I had a panic attack packed with tears of joy and disbelief! lol Grell had to roll the window down so I could get some air lol

After a few minutes, it all settled in and nothing but BLISS washed over me. Or Wedding day is set for Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Trinidad at The Hilton in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
